Dear Solver,

I unfortunately have to postpone MGWCC #921 again, this time until Monday, January 19th, at noon ET. I have already put about 8 hours into my intended meta, but I can’t get it to work. Not sure in cases like this if I should throw this idea in the trash and never look at it again, or give it that *one* more try to see if some miracle works. Sometimes it just turns out to be impossible, other times there’s a magical fix. It’s frustrating — maddening, even — to put so much time into something and then have nothing to show for it (except rightfully irritated solvers). And I’ve had the other scenario play out many times, with a mircale fix appearing right when I’m ready to throw in the towel.

Anyway, next puzzle will be there in 48 hours. Until then.
